1940s Hebe Sports Grey Wool Jacket
A gorgeous Hebe Sports Wool Jacket. Classic 1940s shape with 3 buttons, high lapels and a trim waist.
Brown velvet detail to collar and cuffs and an attractive embroidered detail to the 2 pockets.
Hebe, in Greek mythology, was the daughter of Zeus and Hera and the Goddess of youth. Hence the association with sports, with the jacket originally designed for walking or golf style activities.

Overall excellent vintage condition. There is a patch front left near the pocket which looks like a fault in the weave rather than damage, please see last picture.
